Mr. Kars­ten Klein is working for SOYK GmbH as pro­ject coor­di­na­tor for the oil and gas indus­try sin­ce 01.02.2023

Until 31.01.2023, he mana­ged the lar­gest envi­ron­men­tal engi­nee­ring site in Ger­ma­ny of TÜV SÜD Indus­trie Ser­vice GmbH at Mön­chen­glad­bach (Ger­ma­ny) as part of the accre­di­ted and noti­fied mea­su­ring insti­tu­te accor­ding to § 29b BImSchG. Mr. Kars­ten Klein has more than 25 years of pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence in the field of envi­ron­men­tal engi­nee­ring, inclu­ding 13 years as a mana­ger (disci­pli­na­ry as well as sales and results respon­si­bi­li­ty) over experts and sur­vey­ors (most recent­ly 41 employees*) from the spe­cia­list fields of emis­si­on mea­su­re­ment technology/functional testing/calibration, emis­si­on con­trol, olfac­to­me­try as well as from the field of con­ta­mi­na­ted sites/land recy­cling and envi­ron­men­tal due diligence.

His pro­fes­sio­nal focus is on envi­ron­men­tal con­sul­ting, espe­ci­al­ly in soil and ground­wa­ter pro­tec­tion and land recy­cling (many years of exper­ti­se in the inves­ti­ga­ti­on and assess­ment of dama­ge cau­sed by leaka­ge of water-pol­lu­ting sub­s­tances: oil spills / leaka­ge of hea­vy and light vola­ti­le hydro­car­bons in the oil and che­mi­cal indus­try). In recent years, Mr. Kars­ten Klein has spe­cia­li­zed in the pre­pa­ra­ti­on of clea­ning and dis­po­sal con­cepts during repairs of flat-bot­tom tanks.

In addi­ti­on to pro­ject coor­di­na­ti­on, Mr. Kars­ten Klein is respon­si­ble for the pre­pa­ra­ti­on of con­cepts, state­ments, docu­men­ta­ti­on, and expert reports on all the afo­re­men­tio­ned topics, inclu­ding manage­ment by the authorities.

Mr. Klein also assu­mes the func­tion of the per­son respon­si­ble for ope­ra­ti­ons at our spe­cia­list com­pa­ny in accordance with the WHG.
